How Sweet the Sound is hosting Pink Saturday.
My husband and I worked for an aviation company, traveling the Southeastern states for five years, with 10- 12 employees. We usually were gone ten months out of the year, with a week or two here and there home. We took an leave of absence, three years ago come April, due to my illness.
We met a lot of people along the way. While working out of an Airport in Hartsville, South Carolina, we had a snow day. One of the men, that worked with us was Don. His wife Charlotte, came out to visit him. We threw a few snow balls, and loaded up in the Motor Home. We went to South of the Border Truck Stop, which is south of the North Carolina state line. This is a place which is an amusement park, gift shops, lots of places to eat, lots of rides, and just a fun place to go. I believe it the largest truck stop in USA. People come from all over just to see this wonderful amusement park.
After walking around see the sites, Charlotte at

Don and Terry had a lot of fun, acting as if they had caught a huge pink flamingo.
Yes! They caught the pink flamingo! lol
Here is Terry holding on to pink flamingo legs, trying to hold the huge pink flamingo still.
We would send home pictures to our girls, so they could be part of our life on the road.
Charlotte and I rode on a huge red dog! Sorry could not find the picture of us Charlotte. I miss all the great times traveling around, and meeting new life long friends. Maryann from Alabama that includes you too! Linda in Florida, I just want to thank all of you for being there for me, while I was sick, and traveling on the road working .
Hope you enjoyed our wonderful husbands playing around.
