Carrie at Carola Nativity Gallery has honored this blog with the Proximadade Award, which translated from Portuguese means, “This blog contributes to and supports or believes in close friendships.”
“This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY – nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.”
I am passing this award to eight bloggers, each of whose blog provides much warmth to blogland.
Charlotte from The Robbins Nest has tagged me with a photo tag.
First, the rules are simple. As follows:
6th Picture Meme!
1.Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures.
2.Go to the 6th Folder, then pick the 6th picture in that folder.
3,Post that picture on your blog and the story that goes along with the picture.
4.Tag 6 other peoples that you know or don’t know to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog or an e-mail letting them know you chose them.
Since I have been tagged I am also tagging the following blogs, that I have also given an award to.
I have been tagged! Here is my photo, of my 90 year old friend, Hazel’s gourd she painted and wove with pine straw, to give her daughter for Christmas. I was wondering what photo I would be writing about. This is wonderful, Hazel lives twenty-one miles from me, and drives out to the country, to bring me happy’s, cooked lunches, homemade jelly, and homemade bread. I always have tea, ready for her, whether its morning or afternoon. She knitted me a lovely blue scarf this Christmas. A week ago she fell and broke her hip and had surgery. She is now in a rehab. to help get back on her feet. Hazel, my dear friend, you make my life so bright, I am thinking of you and Wishing You a Speedy Recovery!
Again many thanks, Carrie, for this lovely award.
