Why not add a pot of Hot Tea, and cups and saucers to your Table
As I look out my door,  at the  lovely site of snow
Yes, there sit my old claw foot bath tub.  I had hubby to bring out to be refinished.
I decided to add silver balls to my Early American Prescut Crystal, with silver trees

I didn’t get this one straight! My camera was acting up, as was my hands with the tablecloth

Yes I have it stuffed full, the door is open on one side

I love the silver balls in the Crystal Bowls with the silver trees

My daughter found a few old pieces of this flatware, I loved it so.
While looking in Walmart last summer
I came upon a reproduction of this flatware, which had fell in love with.
I bought two sets!

Renaissance is the name of this lovely flatware that won my heart.

I have a huge collection lot of pieces never shown
Today as I show you my table setting.
Many people come into my website just to see some of my rarest finds
The glasses, and plates are rare finds

As you leave today, here a wonderful view as the snow follows the creek back into the woods
These pictures were in the morning by afternoon we had over six inches.
Now they say were going to have snow again in a day, I wanting Spring to come, but looks like snow loves Mississippi this Winter.

  7. Hi Katherine! The snow is so beautiful and I missed it all because I was (still am) in FL for the birth of my grandson. Your table setting is so pretty, so wintery and glittery. You put everything together so nicely…Christine

  8. Hello Lady Katherine ~I wanted to stop by to reconnect. I’ve had a few absences from blogging and have lost touch with some of my friends.
Ever since winter landed on our doorstep…it provided us the motivation for a few indoor remodeling projects…in two homes! Which can be a bit daunting. So, I relish the breaks I get for blog visits.
    Your wintery tablescape is lovely.
The crystal glassware against the silver…glistens. Very much resembling the beautiful snow.
It’s wonderful how inspiring blog friends as yourself can be, that’s why I love returning the gesture, by sharing cooking or DIY ideas.
I hope you can stop by so we can reacquaint ourselves.

    Sweet wishes,

  9. I just LOVE the silver and crystal together. (you sent your snow to Vermont…:-)…we have 14 inches overnight and more on the way!

  10. Katherine-This is just gorgeous! If spring won’t come, we might as well celebrate winter and you did in high style!! The crystal is gorgeous! ps–ordered the coverlet from Penney’s 🙂

  11. A beautiful table with all your lovely crystal….it made me think of outside as it is heading into the low 20’s this evening in Atlanta….too cold for the South!!

  12. O my goodness, Lady…this is a beautifully done table. I just love how much it looks like WINTER. You did an amazing job. Thanks so much for showing this pretty setting.

    love, bj

  13. I did winter this week too, using the exact same colors! ha! BUT all my winter is now put away for another year. Bring on SPRING!! Your table was beautiful.

  14. Hi Katherine,
What a beautiful tablescape! I love the way you showed us the shimmering, icy sparkle of your elegant table alongside views of the beauty of wintertime outside.

Your Prescut collection is amazing. I was just reading that the size plates you have are rare and much more valuable than the larger snack plates.

    Hope your weekend goes well.

    Warm regards,

  15. Oh Katherine, this is beautiful! Love all of the silver and crystal, and those pretty silver trees are the perfect addition to this wonderful table. Breath taking table, and your photos of the snow are beautiful too. laurie

  16. I’m only a month into blogging, so I see I have a lot of catching up to do!!! I like the silver and crystal together…icy pretty!!! Is that a pew bench at the dining table?? I LOVE it! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Beautiful! (Those winter scenes remind me that snow and ice are just around the corner. Ugh! Pretty to look at, but what a mess! Setting a pretty table sure helps take the sting out of it!)
