Welcome To The 1st Tea Time Tuesday

Today I am Sharing My Tea for Three
in my Parlor
I invited my neighbor, Margaret for Tea in my Parlor. As we sat down for tea.
A lovely surprise, my lovely 90 year old friend, Hazel came for a visit with cinnamon almond bread.
With her she had the recipe and with a starter to make the cinnamon  almond bread!
I shall frame this recipe!

Oh, sorry, back to my Tea.  I added another cup and desert plate.
Today we sampled loose leaf tea from  Vintage Tea’s Earl Grey Creme Tea.

Hazel took her tea with honey and milk.
Margaret took her tea with just a wee bit of sugar.
I tried my tea with just sugar, Oh, but I had to try a little milk and loved it more.

The teapot was empty in no time, as we sat and talked, while eating my homemade persimmon cake, Victorian House of Scones cinnamon  blueberry scones, and chocolate puffs.
I make my scones up ahead of time. I freeze the dough in double ziplock freezer bags.

Hazel always takes a frozen batch of scones home for she loves the scones so much.
Margaret she loves my persimmon cake, she takes home a few  of the persimmon cakes.
I included links where I buy my scones mix and my loose leaf tea.
I do not get any compensation for sharing any links on my blog website.
Low Tea is when using a coffee table
or small low table for Tea
Low Tea is usually for three or less
I used an old shawl, with place mats and a crocheted runner and an antique dollies in the middle. Napkins to match, with flatware, and used two votive candle cups to hold a white rose.
Add a few pearls, flowers, and a bow. All upon my coffee table.

Use only one tier plate set
When I have Tea,
my guest love to bring things to show and tell.

Today I am sharing my Royal Albert Old Country Roses tea set on my beloved metal rose tray, from a lovely neighbor that left us a few years ago at the age of 90.
A little bow on the honey jar.  On the table is the table cloth I crocheted long ago.

Oh! I had a lovely time.
Thank You for joining me today for

  16. I’m just stopping by to see if Mr. Linky behaved. When I posted my first Foodie Friday, all my links disappeared, too. I think it’s almost a given that something un-linky like will happen the very first time with that cad of a Linky.

  18. Thank you Lady Katherine for explaining about Mr. Linky. I reposted. Tea Time on Tuesdays is a great idea! So happy to join you!
