  1. This is beautiful, Lady Katherine. I feel like it could be a 5 star restaurant in Destin, Florida!! The dishes are just perfect for a beachy tablescape and I love all the accessories, like the crabs and starfish. The sailboat is a perfect centerpiece! You’ve done a great job!! Bravo!

Ohhh…I bet Terry was sooo surprised and sooo thrilled with your special birthday “Beachy” tablescape, my friend! It’s so hard to keep a secret, isn’t it? Hehe! Well dear lady, I just love everything about your fabulous table…the attention to details is incredible!!! I love how you did your table centerpiece! The big sail boat and ship captain is just stunning!!! Although I have been to Florida…I have never been to Destin! But I’m sure that your beautiful seaside table brought back many fond memories to your husband! Girlfriend, the place settings are sooo very beautiful! I love the soft aqua blue salad plates and ohhh my, the shell soup bowls are just incredible!!! I think they just make the place setting! Sending your dear husband the happiest birthday wishes ever! Thank you for sharing this special tablescape with us today and also for hosting this sweet tea party! I really have enjoyed being able to participate the last couple of weeks!!!

  4. Well, a very happy birthday to your dear husband. I’ll bet he was beyond thrilled that you took him on such a lovely “trip” for his birthday. You did a fabulous job.

I need to do a tablescape like that myself, as I am going into beach withdrawals. I’m currently living in a land-locked state and haven’t seen the ocean in 2 years…I used to live about 30 minutes away. I NEED a tablescape like yours.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Have a lovely day,
    Patti

  5. Your table is so beautiful! I love those dishes! I saw those at Kohls and I remember thinking how wonderful they were. And the chairs were a great deal and they look to be in perfect shape.
Kudos to you, the table is stunning!

  8. Hello Lady Katherine,
What a wonderful nautical themed tea! My hubby would love it as he grew up near the ocean. Actually I mention the beach in my tea party this week as we’re at the beach almost every day lately. Love the ship!

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  11. That is a lovely table setting, and I’m sure it was a wonderful and warm dinner party for your hubby’s birthday. That was a great price for the those chairs, they look fantastic. Of all those nice items on the table, that seahorse candleholder is my favorite, I’m wondering if it’s still being carried by Kohls.

  12. “Happy Birthday to you Hubby”. This is such a FUN tablescape. He MUST have LOVED it… I LOVE those shell bowls, I am going to go hunting for a few of those!!!
Thank you for sharing and having this fun Party for us to share in. Hugs, Donna

  15. What a special tea time for your husband and you, just beautiful. To bring the beach to the man you love so dearly. The shell bowls are , well, to use the same word over and over, beautiful! How ever did you manage to keep these things secret? Did he see yo setting up or was he completely surprised?

  16. This is a beautiful tablescape! I love the dishes especially those shell bowls! Those are so fab!

Happy Birthday to your hubby! I’m sure he enjoyed the special tablesetting you put together for him!

  17. Absolutely lovely! I am going to have to get to Kohls! I saw those dishes at full price and fell in love, but just could not afford them. Don’t you love a sale?

You have so many beautiful pieces on your table and they all coordinate so well! I’ll bet your husband was pretty impressed. A masculine tea table! You are quite talented.

I hope you were able to spend a wonderful birthday celebration together.

Your chairs were a great buy. I also got 6 dining room chairs at an auction ($35), but they are not nearly as nice as yours.

  18. Just lovin’ this beach tablescape- a few ideas to continue the inspiration for my ‘beach bathroom’ in my mountain cottage. When you live so far from the sea, it’s nice to get glimpses of the beach holiday mood. I’m so glad you honoured your husband in this way!

  19. I did it again! I delete a comment instead of published. So sorry!
