Cafe and Store remodel

Welcome to the 71st Tea Time Tuesday
I am sharing a few photos of the Old General store/cafe remodeling
Will show more soon!!!
My husband playing around with a cup of coffee
What do you think should I put tin roof here?/

Faux painting bricks on the cafe wall
chairs to recover, tables to be built
Yes, I lost a lot of weight since surgery, baggy pants. lol
New counters built
Almost finished with the walls
This is the cafe, it going to be a French Country outdoor decorating.
Coming together, will show finished room soon.
I have been at the store/cafe even though I am not suppose to be doing anything but resting, well you see what I am doing. Chairs painted, recovered, and a Cafe soon to be finished.
Yes it is open and doing well, I just have to get to ordering more for the store. Wishing for more time. lol
I have been to see two specialist this last week, I have bad news from both, so I am on a mission to help my family’s dream come true. I am only getting 2-3 hours sleep a night. So I am late on this post, so sorry!!
I shall beat what is happening to me, even though they say it is impossible!
Keep me in your thoughts and prayers, as I am exhausted,
and now know all I have been through with the last 41 surgeries, to be here now is to help my family!
Dreams Can Come True!
Thanks to my daughter for helping us!

  1. As Audrey Hepburn said nothing is impossible – the word itself says I’m Possible… and I’m living proof, the doctors said I would not survive, but after 6 weeks in a coma ~ I surprised them and 4 1/2 years post accident I’m still here… not as I use to be… but its a new life.

The cafe looks great! The faux stone wall .. WOW…. but, please do rest a little (I too over do it at times, and pay for it). I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers .. you have much more work to do here, you are no where finished 🙂

Thank you for hosting this wonderful tea party.. its my first time participating… xo HHL

  3. Hi: Your place is looking wonderful. Remember don’t believe the doctor, believe the Healer. Only Jesus can say when it is time for us to go home. I will keep you in prayer dear sister. Blessings, Martha

  4. you’ll be in my prayers! i do hope there will be good news and please try and not over exhaust yourself but i can understand how busy it is to remodel a cafe, but it looks lovely already, love the chairs and the checkers tablecloth, your husband with the big coffee sign is soo funny 🙂

    Blessings,
    Susan

  5. I agree with Martha-Jesus is the ultimate healer. Bobby and I enjoyed our dinner at your place and visiting with you. Our friend was tickled about your making the bathroom from his old wood! PLEASE try to rest.

  6. the Cafe is going to be so cute! i love the first picture with the big cup! 🙂 i agree with the other 2 ladies … doctors can be wrong, only God knows the time … you have a positive outlook, and that’s so important … but don’t push yourself too hard … get the rest that you need!

  7. I agree – nothing is impossible and God can work you through anything –
I woke this morning and truly felt I needed a coffee that large – how much?
The cafe looks great – bless you for helping make their dreams come true –
Thanks for hosting this marvelous party each week,
    God Bless,
    Kathy

  8. Hi Lady Katherine, I always want to leave a message but don’t know why I haven’t…today I am going to! So many of us love you out here in this big cyber world and hold you in our prayers. Working together with your family on your cafe is a beautiful dream come true, something wonderful to be a part of together. It looks fantastic and I am sure feels like a lot of love when you step inside.

  9. Nothing is impossible with God! My hubby always says, ‘God is a big God’ and yes, He is!

    Blessings,
    Sandi

The cafe looks wonderful, but please get some rest!

  11. Hi Lady Katherine, Just stumbled onto your site for the first time. What a great adventure – to build a cafe out of a funky old store! It looks great, and I admire your talent and determination. The prayers of many people are coming your way. Take care.
