Welcome to the 68th Tea Time Tuesday
Here in Mississippi it is near 100 degrees, a glass of iced Tea,
is very appreciated when having a crawfish boil in this heat.

Mississippi Pond Raised Red Swamp Crawfish
My Hubby has been expermenting with Mississippi State University, in rasing crawfish in a pond.
His first big catch of the season!

My Hubby with two five gallon buckets of his pond raised crawfish.
My Hubby and Son-In Law, Shane, taking the crawfish off the fire.  They are saying Hurry and take the picture the pot is hot!
Here is a pan full of cooked crawfish from Hubby’s pond.
My husband can boil, some really wonderful tasting crawfish!
All agree that get the pleasure to taste, not too hot, just right!
With a glass of iced tea!
Hubby little shed looks like a small old  time country store.
Some of my family enjoying the crawfish boil.
Hope you enjoyed our Family Crawfish Boil!

  1. Well, you can tell your hubby that my husband loved this post! We are from Buffalo,NY and now living in Houston. Since we have moved here my husband has been curious about crawfish! We don’t have a pond here but you can be sure he will be eating crawfish soon. Not Me!Thanks for your wonderful pictures. My husband wonders why I’m bloggng all the time, now he knows! Very interesting and fun.
    Blessings My Friend,

I must think of something to go hand and hand with it. Have a good week.

  3. I have never eaten crawfish, but it looks like you had a feast. Your husband has been raising a bountiful harvest for you all,and his shed is a perfect family spot. What fun you all have.

  4. I so loved this post! What lovely photos of a special time from a place I’ve never been. I’ve seen pictures of crawfish boils but never gotten to attend one. How I would love too.

Bright minds must think alike. My tea post today is all about summer fun of times past…things we indulged in this week. :o)

Thanks for hosting this great tea party.

  8. Hi Lady Katherine,
I just wanted to let you know, that if you happened to visit my tea party and the tool didn’t work that I fixed my linky tool thing. Brent changed it and I didn’t realize it wasn’t working right. If you still have time and want to link up, it should work now.

  9. So cool – I love learning new things about other parts of the country. Crawfish – interesting! And I just love your hubby’s shed. You guys were just made for each other 🙂
