CREAM TEA IN MY ROSE GARDEN

Welcome to the 65th Tea Time Tuesday
With Lady Katherine
Welcome to my Rose Garden Tea
My Grandmother’s pink roses are in bloom. Last year I had Tea in my Garden,
which is my Tea Time Tuesday Logo. This year I will be having at least four different
Afternoon Tea Settings in my Garden.
I have been sharing these Teas in my Rose Garden in the last weeks.

Notice in the pink roses floating in my bird bath
See a little of my arbor of grapevine, and now the pink roses are starting to climb on it

I used my cream Heart Pierced dishes, from Ross
In this view, you can see on both sides of the arbor

My pink roses are a lot fuller this year, so lovely to look out at.
I used a white tablecloth and added my husband’s Aunt’s
off white sheers curtain for the topper
Place setting: Pierced Heart charger, and cup
My Husband’s Grandmother’s everyday dinner plate.
Flatware pattern: Renaissance reproduction, from Walmart
Napkin holder from Dollar Tree
12×12 Tea napkin, which I made
Added a place-card and a small pink rose

Close up of the table
Centerpiece: Tree Tier plates and a Pierced Heart Bowl of Roses
Centerpiece:
Pierced Heart bowl, with my Husband’s Grandmother’s bowl inside with pink rose floating
Centerpiece: Three Tier off white dishes, from Fred’s Dollar Store
On the bottom Tier: bite size chocolate chip scones and butter brickle scones
On the middle Tier: white Fancy Cakes, with a pink rose bud in center
On the top Tier: chocolate cookies
The scones were made from a mix, bought from Victorian House Sconces
I made the scones bite size to sample the two types scones
Garnish: with pink roses, and peppermint leaves
I floated pink roses in the off white soup tureen
This soup tureen was given to by Becky at Holiday In The Sun
The top is so lovely but decided not to use it today.

I love this view of the large oak trees, the bird bath, and my goose
Gentleman’s blue is one of my favorite colors, my kitchen is decorated in this color.
I used a gentleman’s blue iron table, with the gentleman’s blue old ladder back chairs I painted.
Fifteen years ago, I took fabric and tore it into strips and wove the rag seats in each chair
Pierced Heart Tea Set on a round aluminum tray with a doily,
sitting on a iron plant stand covered with my off white shawl

I hope you enjoyed my Cream Tea in My Rose Garden

Thank you all for linking up each week, as I continue to recover from my surgery, many have asked how my daddy and I are doing. We both are not well yet, Daddy breathing better, and I hope soon he well.
Since my fall, I have had a few complications, working on trying to get my strength back.
I’m not there yet, but hopeful soon.
Our Old General Store/Cafe will soon be ready to open, I can’t wait to show you some photos of it.

MOTHERS DAY TEA

Welcome to the 63rd Tea Time Tuesday
Come join me in my rose garden for a cup of Tea in my blue southern garden setting.
As I await my pink roses buds to open, I plan my Teas for the garden.
These roses were my Grandmother’s, they have different shades of pink blooms.

A perfect Tea for Mothers and Daughters this Mother’s Day
When we bought my Birthday dishes at Cracker Barrel, I saw this Teapot. As I was planning this Tea in my garden. I thought this Teapot would look lovely with my
 Staffordshire Engravings Wild Rose Dishes.
One day I decided to call to see if they had this Tea Set in stock,
they told me the Blue Bliss Teapot was 40% off and they had only one.
I had them to hold it for me, and my daughter, Jennifer picked it up for me.
How excited I was when I saw the Teapot came with a cream and sugar dish on a small tray!

 Blue Bliss Tea Set
Sitting on my blue round platter, and cake plate.  I bought from Cracker Barrel seven years ago.
On a plant stand with a vintage crocheted doily. The stand and doily are yard sale finds.
I am using for a Second Time Around.

Join me for a cup of Rose of Venice Tea
Poured 3/4 full, as not to spill, and  leave room to add sugar, honey, or milk.
Would you like to have a few scones, and deserts with your Tea?
A glass of iced water?  Iced water is in the blue pitcher,
on a plant stand with a crocheted doily.
Where are the water  glasses? On the other side on a plant stand with a tray.

Oh, I just love the pink roses with this blue and white Tea Setting.
Behind the table are the water glasses in the tray, on the plant stand covered with a doily.

After setting the table.  I took all the trays which held the food, and china for this Tea,
to the porch. I sat on my porch swing for a little rest.
My daughter, Suzette says this view of the Garden is so peaceful. I do agree!
I just loved sitting and looking out at the view.
Thinking how I would love for my daughters, and granddaughters  join me for for this lovely Tea.
I want to give you a tour with close ups of some of the things that are in my Garden.
My birdbath floating roses, I did not fill it as full with roses as they just starting blooming.
I adore the lilly pad with the birds on top of my birdbath!
My daughter’ Suzette’s iron table set is getting a paint makeover, but I decided I loved it in the view. She got this iron table set on freecyle last year. This Mother’s Day she sat this iron set, with cans of spray paint at my front door with a big card saying Happy Mother’s Day! The card also said you made this iron set famous, now I want to see what all you will create with it!
This past October, receiving an honor from the wonderful
Artist Fifi whom  painted your Garden Tea Setting.
(I have the original painting, Fifi sells prints of the painting she calls Tea With Katherine.)
This past April you received another honor, of having your Tea Setting photo published in a newspaper, THE NEWS REVIEW in Ridgecrest, California. A lovely article about,
TEA IN THE GARDEN was written by Wanda Church.
Thank You Wanda for choosing my last year Tea in my Rose Garden!
( which is my Tea Time Tuesday Logo)
I plan to borrow this famous iron table set for a while!
Then I shall give it back to my daughter, for she loves it as much as I do.
For now I am loving using it for Teas.

On top of the table I added a crocheted tablecloth my sister, Doris gave me Christmas,
she found this tablecloth at a yard sale.  The little tray came with my Blissful Blue Tea Set.
Ceramic bird basket bought from Peeples, for half price, just $9.00, last summer.
I filled the ceramic bird basket with my lovely pink roses.

Some of My Favorite Things, upon my Table Top are:
 My Centerpiece:
My three tier plate rack from Fred’s Dollar Store,
I added my blue and white Wild Roses dinner plate, salad plate, and saucer.
On each side of the tier are small ceramic birdbaths from Peeples, ( I bought these half price for $9.00 each last summer) the birdbaths feature floating pink roses.
I met Vicki, the day I bought these, she asked me what I was going to do with them. I explained I loved to create Teas and Tables Settings on my website. She told me she loved visiting Designs By Gollum and Between Naps On The Porch. I then told her I was Lady Katherine. She and the ladies also knew my website. I had so much fun meeting Vicki and the other ladies at Peeples.
After I had my 41th surgery, I received many cards. gifts,
from blogging friends, facebook friends and friends here at home.
. Wow, the internet even brings people who live near you,
whom you’d probably would never have known.
I so lucky to have so many friends, I have met over the years online.
Every year the Mississippi Magnolia Southern Belles,
which are ladies that have met online,( from Mississippi, and neighboring states)
This year in September, I hope to host the Tea Luncheon in our old General Store/ Cafe.
It shall be later fall before the Tea Room is open.
I will let you all know the closer we get to opening the Tea Room.
The Cafe will seat around 50 people, we are working hard to get it open in the next month.

The blue butter dish, I bought from Cracker Barrel about seven years ago.
The little vase is a Thrift Store find, I shall use to serve jams or honey. The little blue and white Teapot is really a night light! I took the bulb out and it looks wonderful on the table.
Both were given to me by my daughter Suzette on my Birthday.
Can you tell my daughter, loves finding things to use a second time around?
We both just love Thrifty Finds!
Don’t you just love the fresh pink rose buds on the fancy cakes!
Oh, and my dishes, I added on this Three Tier Server!
So fun to be able to add different dishes to my Three Tier Server.
This is the first time I have used the ceramic birdbaths,
and bird basket which is on the round iron table.
If you look close you can see why I used these light blue Tea Napkins.
My tablecloth has light blue embroidery flowers on it. I used this vintage tablecloth,
I bought from a yard sale at least 15 years ago, for a skirt at my kitchen sink for years.
Oh, why did I do that?
I love this vintage blue and white tablecloth! It is now all free of stains and is at it rightful place!
On the Table Top!
Close up of the my Vintage Tablecloth
I love the scalloped edges, I see my ironing is not so great! lol
Place setting:
Staffordshire Engravings Wild Rose dishes: a 12 piece setting a gift from my sister, Gloria
(This pattern looks so much like Blue Willow, but it has flowers around the edges of the plates.)
Tea Napkins: I made
Napkin rings: a Thrift Store find
With a tiny pink rose added to the napkin holder
Flatware: reproduction Renaissance pattern, from Walmart
I do love my  Blue Bliss Tea Set!
Doesn’t it look great with all the different patterns of blue dishes I have?
One of my most favorite things! My chairs!
Which are usually at my Breakfast Table in the Kitchen.
I love to take this chair to sit in when I spin on the spinning wheel,
and weave on a loom at different demonstration.
This old ladder back chair, I bought at a Thrift Store.
Some of the chairs were gifts from friends.
I painted the chairs Gentleman’s Blue and tore strips of fabric.
I then wove the rag chair seat about fifteen years ago.
How do you like my Southern Blue Tea in my Rose Garden?

My Roses are in full bloom, and so hope to do more Teas in my garden.
I’ve been very busy with Doctor visits, and at the store/cafe with my husband.
Can’t wait until the telephone and internet is installed. lol
I am trying to paint all the chairs, a little at a time, I then go and lay on my 1950 sofa.
Which is great therapy for my arms, as long as I do not over do. I am still having a lot of pain from my fall, but the healing is started, and I hope to be back up and about soon.
This past week, I have been really sick and stayed home in bed,
but I am feeling a little better today.
So hopefully I will get the chairs and tables done by opening day.
If I haven’t been to visit, Please know I have loved reading your comments,
and I wish I was able to visit All YOUR TEA’S I have missed!
How would I have loved to have a Tea for the Royal Wedding,
I loved watching the wedding on TV.
I hope you all celebrated with a lovely Tea for this Historical Romantic Day.
Have a lovely Mother’s Day!

Blue Willow Tea Tray

Welcome to the 60th Tea Time Tuesday
Today is Blue Willow Tray just for me!
As I recover from surgery
A lovely pink rose from my garden.
Oh, yes there is my hospital bed on the left showing up.
I cropped the photos but got locked out of one of my accounts until these will have to do.
Legend of Blue Willow
Long ago a Chinese Emperor lived in a magnificent pagoda, with his beautiful daughter.
She loved her father’s clerk, but was promised in marriage to a wealthy merchant.
When the young couple eloped, the emperor ordered them killed. The God’s spared them by
turning them into the two doves you see flying on the Blue Willow dinnerware.
Place setting on the tray with one of my favorite magazines, Southern Lady
The silverware is odd and end pieces found at garage sales.
View toward the mantel, and my spinning wheel, yes I love to spin wool, cotton, and linen.
I now have nine Gulf Coast Sheep and their fiber is wonderful.
See my last post for a photo of my lamb born last week.
Tea Napkin made by me
My cousin Deborah gave me this old cup years ago.
Back in my early 20’s I thought I didn’t want any country things, and would go modern.
I had a garage sale and sold many things, including my old Blue Willow set of dishes,
which had the teacups and not the mugs with it. I have regretted it many times.
Within a few months I came to my senses, and purchased a set of old Blue Willow.
This set has mugs with it and not as old of a set as mine was.
I was happy to have Blue Willow back in my home!!

All the things including the tray came from a garage sale,
even the fabric and lace I made the Tea napkin out of.
with the exception of the white scarf and magazines.
The white scarf across the tray, I purchased at the gift shop at Rosalee, in Natchez, Mississippi
The scarf is really to cover your bread with.

This view the light came out will great. For my parlor is dark.
The tray is a $5:00 garage sale find and don’t you just love the pockets on th side for book?
After Tea it turns into a little desk with the top lifting up just enough to write or read on.
 Back view of the tray
 Bird’s eye view

My Blue Willow Tea Set, I bought at a garage sale 25 years ago, for $15.00.
The lady said she had had it 15 years ,
and had brought it home in her lap on an airplane, from Holland.
I do have the oil/vinegar, and salt and pepper shakers that came with the set.
This little bell was one of the last gifts from my Mother. I cherish it dearly!
She gave each of the girls one, and and I happen to get two lucky me!
Or lucky for my granddaughters! lol
I am still on bed rest, and doing very little, will see my Doctor later this week.
I have been sleeping just about around the clock. My daddy is running a temp., and not feeling well, since his open heart surgery.  I have a sick  six year old grandson, whom lives with me,
that may have strep throat again, so he will be off to the doctor today. Hope soon we are all well! Our Old General Store/Cafe is looking a lot better., hoping to get it open soon.
Then we shall work on the Tea Room.
I have spent a few days there with my husband, sleeping on the sofa.

BLUEBIRD TEA

Welcome to the 59th Tea Time Tuesday
This Tuesday I will be celebrating my Birthday. Bluebirds are one of most favorites of all.
I hope you enjoy my Bluebird Tea today, as I hopefully will be celebrating my Birthday with another Tea with my Birthday Dishes.
If you look close out the French Doors you can see my cat, Katie naping, she follows me all around, and never leaves my side when I am outdoors. She’s really my grandchildren’s cat,
but has to come to live on my porch, so I renamed her.
I just love bluebirds, they mean home to me.
My Bluebird Tea
This dish was given to me one year by my friend Maryann, from Sweetwater, Alabama
The blue birds on the branch a gift from my daughter Suzette
Centerpiece: a small bird bath filled with nest, flowers and a bluebird
Back view of the table
Place setting: blue plates from Dollar Tree, husband grandmother’s everyday white plate, and garnet red plate from Walmart.  Tea napkins I made, the napkin holder is from a set Christine gave to all the guest at the last Mississippi Magnolia Southern Belles Tea Luncheon. This is a group of ladies with websites, and facebook from Mississippi and neighboring states, we all get together and have a Tea Luncheon.
Christine was the hostess for the last Tea Luncheon in her home in Natchez, Mississippi
The tea cup my daughter found in a little shop, and it the same pattern to the dish my friend Maryann gave me.
My vintage embroidered table topper bought years ago at a garage sale
My daughter Suzette found me this wonderful bluebird teapot at another shop, which is the same pattern as the dish, and teacups. I just adore it! Yes, it really a teacup in one, but I love using it for more than one for the bottom cup is really large. My teapot sits on a blue plate, with the strainer. I know I say this many times, I adore using a strainer with my teacup, many think a tea strainer should not be used on the table. Not I!!
I adore straining out the loose leaf tea leaves which have had room to expand in the teapot.
My teapot is usually empty before the leaves can turn the tea to a bitter taste.
The blue birds on the branch sits on the dish filled with  pieces of chocolate candy, cookies with icing, chocolate chip dipping cookies, and fancy cakes.
You can see the bluebirds on top of the bluebird house another gift from my friend Maryann.
My daughter, Suzette found my second teacup at another little shop, how happy I was for all the pieces are the same pattern, and all came from different shop, and towns.
I just adore this teapot!
I added bluebirds around the centerpiece, which are from the Dollar Tree
Notice the tea towel on back of the chair it is covered in bluebirds,
I bought this towel on my working/travels, while in Georgia.
I love my napkin rings, Christine! Thank you!
The yellow butterfly, looks like it just flew in and lite on the birdbath
Just adorable!
Here you can see the nest in top of the birdbath
Another view of the vintage embroidered topper I used for this Tea
I hope you love my little bluebird tea as much as I do!
Don’t you just love this bluebird teapot, and teacup!
Thank you Suzette
I love the different colors how they blend so wonderful together
Closer view of the tabletop
The bluebirds look like they are hopping all over the table, searching for a crumb
I just loved going around my home looking for things to make this bluebird tea.
Dusk is here, but I was still taking pictures, for I had a lot of teas to get done before I had surgery.
I hope you have enjoyed all the Spring Teas I have shown these last few weeks.
Can you hear the clock chiming?
It time to announce the winner of the lovely book of poetry Anthesis,
 by Muse
Congratulations the winner is Kathy B. of  Spot On Cedar Pond
Please email me your address, at ladykatherineteaparlor@gmail.com
I shall send you your lovely book Anthesis
I  just simply love my bluebird tea dishes
I am stilling having a few complications, and still on bed rest. I sit looking  out at my red, and pink roses blooming. My white and purple Iris, and many other flowers.
Oh so wishing I could have a Tea with my lovely flowers.
For now I shall enjoy the flowers blooms from the porch.
Thank you all for the prayers for my Daddy and I. Daddy is feeling much better. He’s still on drips of antibiotic around the clock, hopefully soon he will be back to his old self.
I have received books, cards and emails, and so many lovely comments of encouragement this week! Thank You all so much, and for joining me for Tea Time Tuesday.

April 1st night this little ram lamb was born to my favorite Ewe Sheep, Sadie
What a surprise we had, for all our other lambs were born late Dec. and Jan.

I have named him Leo, my husband says he an early Birthday Present! He is only a few hours old here.
Just wanted to share a little of our farm life with you.

Hopefully this Tuesday, my Birthday
I shall be feeling well enough to have a luncheon using my rabbit dishes I got for my Birthday from Cracker Barrel with my family to share next week.
I went to the Doctor a few days ago,
he says bed rest, a little sitting up, and start trying to walk a little each day.
I still have several complications, and hoping the will be better soon.

WHIMSICAL BIRD AND DAFFODIL TEA

Welcome to the 58th Tea Time Tuesday
Spring is surely here! The birds are singing, and daffodils blooming.
The days are so much warmer, I have been sitting on the porch soaking in the sunshine!
My hens are laying and chicks to be hatched soon. Today I decided to add birds and chicks to my Tea
Centerpiece: of daffodils in a green pail, my little creamer and sugar bowl with chick salt and pepper shakers
My yellow bird teapot is from Hobby Lobby, sitting on my favorite wire Teapot warmer,
underneath my husband’s grandmother’s everyday plate, with a a green plastic plate
with little yellow bird chick candy
Yes, you will usually see a tea strainer on my table, many believe it not a place for the table.
Not I, I love using my tea stainer over my cup as I pour my tea. I brew my loose leaf tea in the teapot to let the leaves have room to expand. The tea leaves left sittting in the teapot will make your tea bitter,
but my Tea is usually gone before then and another pot of tea is brewed.
For each place setting I used my husband’s grandmother’s everyday white plate, with a chick dish in the center with a green plastic plate as a charger, as this is an informal Tea.
Green napkins from Ross
Chick flatware holders from Cracker Barrel
White teacups from thrift store, a gift from my daughter Suzette
My white tablecloth from a garage sale many years ago,  I think paid around $1:00 for.
View out the French Doors, my husband cut ash limbs,
and made the curtain rods for my Native American Indian decor family room.
On the chairs I bought for $2:50 each from the Annual Garage sale,I placed yellow placemats
Many ask are my Tea;s in my home, yes they are. I live in a 100 year old Craftsman Bungalow, which we are remodeling and probably always will be. People laugh and say if I do not like a wall there it goes. They are right, lol We change and if I live with it for a while and decided I do not like it it goes. lol
For a three tier stand I choose my husband’s grandmother’s white everyday dishes, I never knew when I took them out of the cabinet and washed them up, I would love using them so much. They are smaller than a dinner plate, and larger than a desert plate, and go so well with many Teas.
I have a 64 piece set of white dishes I barely ever use, for I love using my husband’s grandmother’s dishes.
I also used Melamie yellow scalloped desert plates on top of the white plate, and a small bowl on top holding a chick in a little flower pot, holding a sign DREAM!
Close up of centerpiece
Just adore these chick salt and pepper shakers
Close up place setting
The sun is shining brightly! So refreshing to see all the flowers blooming and trees budding outdoors.
I just love this whimsical Teapot!
Out the French Doors you can see a few of my chickens, in the background.
Close up of the chick flatware holders
I added little candy yellow birds to each teacup saucer
Doesn’t this just say Spring is here!

Next week I shall announce the winner of the Muse’s new book of poetry, Anthesis
I am so happy to give this lovely book of poetry,
which goes so well while having a cup of Tea,
in celebration of one year Anniversary of Tea Time Tuesday.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my little bird chick tea today, as much as I loved seeing Spring arrive.
This Tea would also be great for Easter.
Next week is my birthday, I will be having a bluebird tea to show you. Hopefully I shall be having a Tea Luncheon with my family with my rabbit Birthday dishes my husband bought me last year on my Birthday:  from Cracker Barrel.  I do love the rabbit pattern Cracker Barrel has this year and it blends lovely with  my last year’s pattern.  I did buy the Tea Set of this years pattern. I am hoping to get the platter and a four more of the egg bowls. I would love to have the dinner plates, but if not I shall use my off white chargers.
As I am still not able to get out since my surgery, and still resting in bed.
Looking forward to feeling stronger soon, and opening our Old General Store/Cafe!
Hoping by summer, I will have the Tea Room up and going at the Store,
for we have many rooms to add to our dreams in the store.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG WHIMSICAL TEA

Welcome to the 57th Tea Time Tuesday
Spring is here!
Today I sharing a whimsical pink, white and yellow Tea
Notice the desert plate is uncovered with a tiny cupcake, and marshmallow strawberry
which is a candle holder, I bought from Dollar Tree to make cup cake holders
The desert plate is covered with another candle holder turned upside down,
I glued a hand painted pink rose on the top for the cloche
I used little pots for the Teacups,
with my striped pink and white dishes from Hobby Lobby
My pink polka dishes bought for just a few cents at Dirt Cheap
Centerpiece: of daffodils, rosemary in the pink polka dot vase,
from my yard, and creamer and sugar
I used pink and white polka dot compotes to make a three tier stand using my husband grandmother’s everyday plates, and my pink and white stripe plates
Filled with miniature cupcakes, cookies, chocolate cupcake candy,
chocolate rolls, strawberry marshmallows, and homemade blueberry scones
Place Setting
I just love my little creamer and polka dot sugar bowl
My Spring has Sprung Teapot on tray
with my tea strainer, Yes, I adore using my strainer for my Teacup, for my Teapot is usually empty before the leaves turn bitter, this give the leaves in the pot room to expand.
My tray I use for my Teapot is really an egg holder
Did you notice my pink and white polka dot Tea napkins I made?
I just adore my cloche, just $2.00 in it. I have some on stand too.
These photos were hard to take with the sun shining through,
but I think this Tea is really sweet and whimsical.

 Another view of the goodies!
I hope you loved seeing my pink whimsical Tea Today.
Thank you for joining me for Tea Time Tuesday.
I  am still in bed recovering from surgery, resting and sleeping the days and nights away.
I have had a set back, and another minor surgery will be in my future. My Doctor is out of town,
so I will not know much more until later this week.
I sat on the porch today for a few minutes to get a little sunshine. I am still very weak,
but looking forward to feeling better in weeks to come. My major surgery was very successful, I have much to be Thankful for. My daddy has been in the hospital for three weeks,
he had open heart surgery, and it been a long journey of complications.
As you pray remember to say a prayer for my Daddy.

Remember I will be giving away the Muse’s new book of poetry, Anthesis at the end of the month, just leave me a comment and you will be entered in the giveaway.
Tea and Poetry are so lovely together!!

SAINT PATRICK LEPRECHAUN LANE TEA

Welcome To The 56th Tea Time Tuesday
Join Me for Tea And A Stroll Down Leprechaun Lane

Today my table is set for four for Tea on my table in my kitchen
Usually when you have four or more for tea you use a large table, or dining table
This will not be a High Tea, which call for sandwiches too, or a full meal with deserts

Informal Afternoon Tea in my Kitchen
Table Setting before the food

Place Setting
Leprechaun Lane sign: Dollar Tree
Shamrock bead necklace used as napkin ring: Dollar Tree
Green napkins: TJMax
Placemats: Dollar Tree
Place Cards: I made by cutting off the tags of items bought from Dollar Tree
Green Tablecloth: Dollar Tree
Wire ring of Shamrocks: Dollar Tree
Green Plastic Charger: Dollar Tree
Looks like china, not plastic, lol
Desert Dish, Tea Cup: Great Gatherings Dishes: Big Lots
Green and White Polka Dot Bowl: Dirt Cheap for 20 cents each
Flatware pattern: Reproduction of Renaissance: Walmart

Table set with food

Place Setting with Spearmint Tea and Butterscotch Pudding
Yes, I should have had an Irish Tea!
To make the spearmint tea
I added a cup of fresh spearmint leaves to my black tea

For My Bowl Of Gold Pudding
I added a wee bit of Irish Cream Liqueur to the Instant Butterscotch Pudding
Just a Wee Bit!
For the topping, I added whipped cream, and crushed butterscotch candy

Another view of my table setting, facing the hutch I built
Are you thinking why does she have a pot of pumpkins on the table?
I shall tell you soon!

View of Table, the dining room Beverage Center is seen through the doorway
Don’t look close! lol

Centerpiece Tier
I used two bowls of the Century Polka Dot dishes, I got for 60 cents at Dirt Cheap
in between three of Great Gatherings plates

You do not have to do a lot to have a Tea
You can buy food baked and add some small touches
All the food came from Walmart
On the Bottom Tier
I bought Cinnamon Apple Tea Biscuits
Bake and add sugar crystals on top just as the tea biscuits turn golden brown
Garnished with spearmint leaves
On the Middle Tier
Green Iced, shamrock sprinkles sugar cookies
On the Top Tier
Bite size green and white iced, chocolate cupcakes with green shamrocks sprinkles

A Century Green and White Polka Dot Bowl  filled with my homemade canned fig preserves
These fig preserves will be so lovely with the Cinnamon Apple Tea Biscuits

I used a Century Green and White Polka Dot Banana Spit Bowl,
60 cents from Dirt Cheap
 for the Butter
Lovely on your Tea Biscuits or  Scones

Centerpiece
Tier of food with two bouquets of  fresh yellow narcissus, rosemary, and fern place in green and white polka dot pots. My  four year old Granddaughter Hannah,
helped me pick and trim the stems for the fresh flower bouquets

My white Tea Set with tongs on top of the sugar bowl
so my guests will know to use the tongs for the sugar cubes
My Pot of Gold is in this Tea Pot!

I used a green and white felted hat for a tea cozy
As I brew my tea in my tea pot the tea cozy will help keep my Tea Pot warm
I also keep the tea cozy on my teapot, to keep it warm as my guest arrive
You can use a dinner napkin, or a tea towel to place around your teapot to keep it warm

Let’s take off the hat tea cozy and pour the tea

Always fill your cup 3/4 full
Add sugar or honey first, taste
then try a little milk if you like
You might like to add lemon wedges for your guest
Never add lemon and milk in your tea for the milk will curdle
I do not take lemon in any of my tea
I do not care for milk in my Spearmint Tea
Just sugar for me please

Another View facing the stair case in my kitchen
My little jelly cupboard is on the left

If your Looking for Your Pot of Gold, could it be this Golden Corn?
I think Miss Goose loves her Pot Of Gold!
Oh, she is Open to Share her Pot of Gold!

Now for my Show and Tell, or should I say:
This is what I am sharing today at my Leprechaun Lane Afternoon Tea.
As I had you thinking why is there a Pot of Pumpkins on the table.
For this Pot of Gold, or rather Orange, lol
The Irish would carve jack-o-lanterns out of turnips,
When they came here to America long ago, they found pumpkins!
Yes, they loved them so much they used the pumpkin to carve the jack-o-lanterns,
To ward off any evil spirits
I think this is a Pot of Gold!

Thanking You For Joining Me For Tea Down Leprechaun Lane

Happy Saint Patrick Day!
